The first and main effective piece of style and branding we used across all three texts was the typography. It was important to have the same text style running across the three in order to brand the artist. As you can see we have the main title of the artist at the top, along with the name of the album. Then again more important information in the same typography like what features in the album and the website that is avaliable to the public. We then had our guitar appearing very often in our video too, this was to match our artists personality being very in to his music.
We planned this out from the beginning to what our artist likes and what would be suitable to add in our video and our other three texts. As you can see from our plan we took other things into consideration, such as, the colour scheme that would match and other aspects like the weather and props such as leaves. This was all useful when it came to actually making our products it made it easier to know what we were heading for. We also at this stage looked at other artists in order to brand our artist in the right way. This helped us know how to address our audience in terms of genre.
As you can see from our digipak and magazine advert we had the theme of leaves with the same colour. This was to keep the same appeal consistent throughout the products. When we planned out the colours we kept them the same running throughout and also as I mentioned before the guitar too was an important feature to run throughout the texts because it was a main prop to represent our artist.
